Jael is a senior at the University of Oregon in Eugene. She is managing editor of The Daily Emerald and will co-editor for UO’s The Student Voice and chief editor for Lane County’s Black Student Magazine this fall. She loves copy editing, reading, and, most importantly, snuggling with her dog Jaxson.  (July 2021)
