Apoorva Khandelwal, Headliners of Summer
Apoorva Khandelwal is an incoming freshman at California High School in San Ramon, Calif. She is a journalist for multiple nonprofit organizations, where she enjoys writing articles and posts on various topics. Apoorva gained her interest in journalism quite recently, specifically during the pandemic. Previously, she didn’t enjoy writing, as it seemed more like a chore rather than a way to express emotions. When COVID-19 hit, she thought it was the perfect time to look at writing from a different point of view, and now she loves it! Besides writing, Apoorva loves to read, volunteer, and binge-watch TV shows. (July 2021)
