Yacine Ba, Headliners of Summer
Yacine Khaly Ba is a rising freshman at Howard University. She will be majoring in Media, Journalism, and Film, with her concentration will be Journalism. She graduated from James Hubert Blake High School in Colesville, Md., where she was the Muslim Student Association’s president during her senior year, a member of Black Student Union for two years and Minority Scholars program for three years. She also was a writer for her school’s news site, The Blake Beat Newspaper during her senior year. She loves photography, traveling, and watching movies. She even created an Instagram photography account called @yacinestofs. (July 2023)
