The NCAA lacrosse championship weekend returned to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., on Memorial Day weekend, opening with the two Division 1 women’s semifinals. In the opener, North Carolina took care of Florida, 20-4, then Northwestern staged a fourth-quarter comeback to top the defending national champions from Boston College, 12-11.
