The Boston Cannons returned to Harvard Stadium as part of a weekend swing by the Premier Lacrosse League over the Fourth of July weekend. Four games were played featuring seven PLL teams, with the Cannons playing twice: they lost to the California Redwoods, 9-7, on Friday, July 5, then beat the Philadelphia Waterdogs, 14-10, on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

A rising junior at Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough, Mass., Laura is the visuals editor on the executive board of the Algonquin Harbinger. Laura has been photographing since the start of sophomore year and has won multiple New England Scholastic Press Association awards for music and sports photography, and has had 16 photos published as a part of the Boston Globe High School journalism program. Outside of photojournalism, Laura uses a telescope for astrophotography, photographing deep sky objects, and competitively rock climbs, while photographing climbing competitions all over New England. Ryan Guiel is a rising junior at Maynard (Mass.) High School, he’s a part of the school’s radio station; WAVM. He is one of the photographers for all of the Maynard sports teams, and aspires to be a photojournalist. (June 2024)
