One of the most beautiful climates you can ever immerse yourself in is an Italian beach. However when you’re in Rome, beaches are harder to come by than say the Amalfi Coast, Puglia, or Sicily. However if you take the train you can get to Santa Marinella, a jewel of a beach with black sand and water that’s strikingly crystal blue. With quiet streets, giant and riveting villas, and gorgeous scenery, I felt at my happiest and most calm at this beach with my friends. It’s very rocky once you get in the water so I would advise bringing water shoes, but the photos you take are bound to get likes!
