Located throughout Rome are bookstores, libraries, and cafes under the la Feltrinelli company. I’ve been to its bookstore on Largo di Torre Argentina four times, where you can find books from classics to children’s books, bestsellers, tourist guides, and historical nonfiction in Italian, English, and other languages; notebooks and sketchbooks, bags, cards, and more. The air-conditioned bookstore spans wide and takes up two floors, making it a great place to wander, shop, and get out of the sun. The one that I went to is located near some key bus stops, so I love popping in while waiting for the 30.
