Trastevere, a neighborhood in Rome, is peaceful, charming, and radiating in the romantic Italian vibes of “Romeo and Juliet” during the day. However at night it becomes a heart of Italian nightlife, crowded with the city’s young adults. Below the streets Lungotevere Ripa and Porto di Ripa Grande is a line of tents selling everything from dresses to movie posters, vintage books, and elaborate fans. You can buy a drink at one of the many restaurants and, if you’re an EF student, hang out in the outdoor lounge that the school rents every Wednesday. There are also multiple music groups there every night, as well as karaoke for visitors.
